Andrew Johnson had no business making it to Washington, D.C., but once he arrived, he refused to leave, even becoming our first and only President to return to the Senate after his term. The 17th President, and first to be impeached, never shied from controversy, and remained pugnacious until his death. Learn about the end of his term, his post-Presidency, his death, and burial!
